Dr. Gritsch touched the lives of many people around the world. If you are one of them, we'd love to hear from you!
Although he is gone, there were many words he left behind that may not have been written in his books but he still shared with us in multiple venues: his preaching, lecturing, guest speaking, and his always engaging before and after dinner conversations.
Future books may be written with some of these Eric Gritsch rememberences.

Rev. Dr. Fred Schumacher is the retired Executive Director of the American Lutheran Publicity Bureau. He spoke at Symposium 2017 on Lutheran traditions including the lore of Luther Medals and shared many items from his personal collection. Photos Video.
It is with great sadness that we report the sudden death of Jack Beebe, a former Gritsch Memorial Fund Board Member. Jack was a strong supporter of the mission of the Fund; he brought interesting ideas to the organization as he facilitated group-building activities during regular meetings. He was an enthusiastic participant in various events. He particularly enjoyed LUTHERFEST where he acted as a bartender.
Jack was a man of many talents and interests ranging from roller coasters to book discussion groups to religious and educational realms. He looked to Eric Gritsch as a theologian for the twenty-first century. Jack always found the time and energy to support a good cause. We were proud to call him our friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
