On Saturday, February 26, 2022, this second tour of this series was conducted by the Rev. Dale Dusman, a former student of Dr. Gritsch and the former pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, who lead us through this beautiful church with an ENTIRE Tiffany interior.

Zion Church of the City of Baltimore
On Saturday November 13th, 2021, the Eric W. Gritsch Memorial Fund held our first in-person event for 2021, an informative tour of Zion Church by lifetime member and experienced tour guide, Bernie Penner.
The Zion Church St. Cecelia Fund and the Eric W. Gritsch Memorial Fund partnered to sponsor the Organ recital at Zion Church of Baltimore of acclaimed organist Nathan Laube, followed by a reception in the historic Adlersaal on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
A Book Talk by Dr. Lynley Herbert was held Saturday June 15th, 2019 at the George Peabody Library.
Mappping Maryland

This stunning selection from The Willard Hackerman Map Collection, a recent bequest to Johns Hopkins University, reflects the private passion of a collector; charts the early mapping of Maryland and Baltimore; and allows for their continued use through new digital technologies and teaching.

was held Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at Zion Church
A celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of his ordination held at Zion Church in October 2012.
It was the occasion for the publication of a Festschrift in his honor entitled "Lutheranism, Legacy and Future: Essays in Honor of Eric W. Gritsch".
A memorial service and celebration was held for Dr. Eric W. Gritsch on March 2, 2013.
His ashes rest in the courtyard of Zion.
